Serving is about letting God work through your gifts to bless others. Explore the categories below and prayerfully consider where the Lord might have you serve.
Relational
If you are a person who loves to host and welcome people into spaces, relational serving opportunities are for you! Redemption is built on the hospitality people show one another, from friends we know to complete strangers. We have serving opportunities where you can greet people right at the front doors of spaces to welcome them into our space, as well as opportunities you can lead a variety of groups helping people make all of their lives all for Jesus.
BEHIND THE SCENES
If you value the work that goes into making things happen for great experiences, serving behind the scenes is a great way to get involved! Planning and set-up go into many parts of the experience someone has at Redemption. Every week, people are helping set-up elements and spaces where people encounter Jesus. Additionally we have teams behind the scenes who are praying and caring for the people in our church. Serving behind the scenes is a great way to connect with other people serving alongside you as you meet the needs others have.
WORSHIP + PRODUCTION
Each Sunday we have a team of volunteers who help lead us into worship! Everything from leading our time of singing together, to operating sound and lights, to operating our slides to help people follow along with the order of worship, each volunteer serves a vital role of the Sunday experience. Maybe you have a talent or are willing to learn a new skill- whatever it is this is a great opportunity to connect with people you are serving alongside, while leading others into worship each week.
LOCAL
One of the things Redemption values is a partnership with our LOCAL partners and we don’t just give but we show up to serve them in a variety of ways! Be a part of our LOCAL team to not only be a connection point, but a hands on volunteer who helps lead our church to serve our neighbors well. We have multiple different partners who key in on a few different needs within our community and we want to empower them to continue their good work with people in our city.
