Esther - The story of the hidden God
What is this series?
Starting February 4, we open up a new book in the Bible, Esther. Esther is a trip. The story itself is wild enough that some people struggle with it being in the Bible. The story is scandalous and full of compromised, twisted characters. It feels more like Breaking Bad than a triumphant story of Christian virtue and purity. But through it all, the nature of God, His kingdom, and the true story of the world is woven beautifully in this ancient story.
Series Schedule
February 4 – Esther 1 - a world without God

Why this series now?
The book of Esther captures some beautiful truths of God through this twisted narrative. Here are 5 reasons you should read and be a part of this study. In Esther, we will be reminded of His:
Faithfulness - God remembers his people ALWAYS.
Salvation - Gods saving work always brings life where death reigns.
Providence - God works through ordinary individuals. Life is naturally supernatural!
Sovereignty - God works out his plan in spite of political leaders.
Grace - God accomplishes his work through unworthy, undeserving people!
