“Love God with everything. AND. Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” – Jesus

This is the summary of the church’s role here on earth. Love God. Love your neighbor. As a church in an area new to us, we have spent time learning about our neighborhood and our neighbors. We have begun a relationship with a few community partners focused on two vital parts of any neighborhood: schools and homes.

Who are our local partners

House of Refuge provides safe, stable housing to families who are experiencing homelessness. Their professional staff works with families on regaining dignity, healing from trauma, finding employment, and ultimately obtaining permanent housing.

Habitat for Humanity helps people in your community and around the world build or improve a place they can call home. Redemption North Mountain is a part of their Sunnyslope Revitalization Project to focus specifically on helping the Sunnyslope community.

Shaw Butte is a wonderful K-6 school serving families on the west side of North Mountain. This is a beautiful school with committed leadership who is excited about a church partnership…which they have not had in years.
