Redemption Kids

What is Redemption Kids?

We want to make church a place kids want to be!

Redemption Kids is a safe and loving environment where kids will have a blast learning about God. We strive to make it a place where parents will feel comfortable leaving their children in our care.

Who is Redemption Kids For?

Redemption Kids is offered at every service for all children from birth through 5th grade. Children age 2 and up will participate in age appropriate and Bible-centered lessons, songs, crafts and activities designed to help them learn who God is and how they can relate to him.

What makes Redemption Kids Possible?

Redemption Kids is staffed by an incredible group of trained and background checked volunteers who are dedicated to providing intentional love and care for the children and families in our community.

  • Redemption Kids is a ‘Well Child’ ministry. As much as we love and care for the children at North Mountain, we are not equipped to care for sick children. We also do not want to do anything that could endanger the health of the other kids and volunteers. With that in mind, we ask that parents/caregivers refrain from checking a child into Redemption Kids if any of the following symptoms/conditions are present:

    • Fever - must be 24hr fever-free

    • Runny nose - except due to allergy

    • Persistent Cough

    • Vomiting and/or diarrhea - must be 24hr symptom-free

    • Any contagious or questionable skin lesions/rashes (conjunctivitis/pink eye)

    • Lice

    • Any symptoms of common childhood illnesses including but not limited to

      • Chickenpox, strep throat, mono, hand foot and mouth, RSV, impetigo

  • We strive to keep our classrooms safe and inviting for all of North Mountain's children; a place where parents/caregivers feel comfortable leaving their kids. Here is what you can expect from us when your children are in our care:

    • Name tags are used for drop-off/pick-up

    • No one is allowed within the classrooms outside of R/Kids volunteers and children

    • All of our adult volunteers are trained and background-checked

    • We do not contact parents during service unless for medical or behavioral concerns

    • Allergies - no outside food or drink is allowed in our classrooms unless it is for a child with allergies

      • We provide the following snacks for 1yo-5th grade: veggies straws, goldfish, and cheerios
