R/Youth + 1Mission: 2025 Mexico Missions Trip
We will spend President’s Day Weekend in Puerto Penasco, Mexico, collaborating with a fantastic organization called 1Mission. Our students will help build a home for a family in Mexico, who have already been serving their community and local church. This is sure to be an unforgettable experience for our students!
Trip Dates
President’s Day Weekend
Depart: Friday, February 14th
Arrive back to Phoenix: Monday, February 17th (We will meet in the church parking lot – specific times will be provided closer to the trip)
Registration Deadline
Sunday, December 15th: 11:59pm
Cost
Adults: $375
Students (12-17 w/no parent chaperone): $375
Students (12-17 w/parent chaperone): $180
Children (11 and under in all cases): $45
***Fees cover: Meals while at 1Mission (Saturday Breakfast through Monday Lunch), Home building materials, utility expenses while at basecamp
Transportation
Parents who are chaperoning may drive directly to 1Mission’s basecamp. If you do, you will be responsible to acquire/pay for Mexico Auto Insurance in order to enter Mexico – more instructions will be provided closer to trip date
You may purchase from your current vehicle insurer by contacting them directly, or contact Kirk Borg: kirk@agapeinsurancepartners.com. We will also be renting large passenger vans that will be driven by our adult mentors. The number of vans we rent will depend on the number of students signing up and parents who will drive directly.

Lodging
Our group will be staying in a clean and safe RV park, known as the 1Mission Basecamp. This is ~8mi outside of Rocky Point (proper). Facilities include a Dining Room, BBQ Area, Pool, and Showers.
Each student/family is responsible for their own sleeping arrangement at the Basecamp.
Each student/family may bring their own tent, or pay to reserve a bunk in the bunkhouse (Males/Females separate)
Cost to reserve a spot in the bunkhouse: $15 total – You must contact Merle with 1Mission directly to reserve your spot: merle@1mission.org
