Advent 2022

ADVENT OFFERING

 As a church family, we are blessed to be a blessing. This advent season, we get to continue a Redemption Church tradition of giving over and above our regular tithes and offerings.

 This year, our focus is giving to ministries helping the fatherless. James 1:27 tells us that religion, in its purest form, is looking out for widows and orphans in their distress. We want to do just that.

WHO ARE WE GIVING TO:

 We are giving to three ministries with our advent offering.

1 | FOSTER CARE, KINSHIP, AND ADOPTION MINISTRY

Redemption Church AZ has a powerful ministry for foster care and adoption. All ten congregations will be collecting money this advent season to give to the ongoing efforts of this vital ministry supporting families who are involved in these critical areas.

2 | WERECONCILE

WeReconcile was created to repair and prevent fatherlessness in our culture by bringing separated adult children and their fathers together through a healing journey of forgiveness and reconciliation, in order to break the generational cycle of emotional, social, and relational discord. We are very excited to partner with this ministry which was started Redemption pastor, Marcus Doe.

3 | BENEVOLENCE

Finally, we will give to our local benevolence fund for use throughout 2023 as needs are made known. Especially for the most vulnerable, we want to be able to step in and help people in our church and community need assistance.
